As I prepare for my hospital cloth diapering experience, I decided to share what will be traveling with me to labor and delivery. I will also post our full newborn stash... But these diapers are all ones that can be used under the belly button as to not cause any irritation. Included are:

8 Newborn AIOs with the belly button snap down rise
10 Newborn Fitted's also with the belly button rise
a dozen Newborn prefolds
4 Newborn covers
2 large wet bags.

That is 30 diaper changes. Perfect for my expected 12-15 diaper changes per day. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to post! We love the feedback.

We have been out of commission for a little while... Getting everything ready for our new baby, who is due to arrive any day now. BUT WE ARE BACK!! New diaper prints are coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled. I cannot wait start cloth diapering a newborn again. And I will post plenty of Cloth Diaper info along with new prints weekly. A little bit-o-blogging. 😉 So, as most of you know I am a Tide using, Cloth Diapering mama! And I usually pride myself on being able to help people perfect their wash routine with whatever their choice of detergent, may it be full of scent, free and clear, or completely green. But I have been noticing a bit of ammonia with my own wash routine (what???) 😧 and I am ready to try something new just for the sake of trial and error. Also, I know a LOT of families that have allergies to Tide.. And that makes me wonder if maybe it's just too harsh. 😔 I have had some moms ask me about the new Persil that is sold in Walmart and I am giving it a go. However, before I even considered it, I did email the company to ask if they thought their products would be safe for cloth diapering and if it could combat ammonia the way my trusty Tide has not. 📬 They emailed back and assured me that their products are Cloth Diaper safe and recommended that I combat ammonia with 1/2 Cup of Borax, no matter what detergent I am using. This is a new one for me... but hey! I am all about "don't knock it til you try it." So here goes!!! I just put my dipes in the wash and will be reporting back soon.
