My favorite part of owning a boutique has never really been the clothes.

It’s the people. And their stories. ❤️

Today I got to help a mama who is just beginning the adoption process pick out a sweet little outfit for the baby they’re already praying for.

A baby they haven’t met yet.
A baby they don’t know anything about yet.
But a baby who already has a place in their hearts.

And then I met a brand-new foster mama with her very first placement.

Two mamas. Two completely different stories. Both stepping into a whole lot of unknown with a whole lot of love.

These are the days that remind me why I love having this little store.

Yes, we sell cute clothes and baby gifts and all the things. But I get to stand on the sidelines of some really special moments in people’s lives.

And that will always be my favorite part of Sunny Meadow. ❤️

Okay, but look what happens when you start mixing things together. 😍

I was playing around with some of our fall pieces today and put this little outfit together and OH MY WORD. The red corduroy overalls with that striped sweater and those little shoes?!

This is exactly why I love having different brands in the store — sometimes the cutest outfit isn’t something that came together. It’s the pieces you find that just work together.

And apparently I may have found myself a new hobby…playing dress-up with the entire store. 😂
