Island Street Studios The Island St. Studios community is a collective of artists, makers & creatives in in 27 loft-style Island St.

Studios is a collective of 27 studio spaces activated by artists, makers, and creatives of all kinds. Located within a vibrant community, and part of the Lawrence Community Works network, the studios vary in square footage from 205-535 square feet, allowing you the option of selecting a studio perfect for your artistry or creative work. With exposed brick walls, twelve-foot ceilings, city and rive

r views, magnificent windows, and historic mill surroundings, the spaces are perfect for your remote incubator or office space, and are accessible in our secure location at any time of the day or night. Located in a rich and diverse community, the space offers on-site property management, a freight elevator, shared slop sink and storage space, ample parking, and a community classroom available to use for classes, meetings, or workshops without charge to any of our creative community members. Join us for any of our Open Studio events, where you can view work from members of our community in our shared gallery spaces, or contact us to schedule a tour to see how the spaces could work for you!

Essex Art Center is looking for musicians, bands, and DJs to perform at our Grand Reopening Celebration on Saturday, August 21st from noon to 6pm. We have stipends set aside 💰. Please message us if you are interested and available to share your talent with our community that day 🎵.
