There’s a huge driving force that pushes me to sew and that’s knowing the QUALITY of the items I make. Often times I’ve wondered if I should continue this hobby/passion of mine and I always come back to this. I sew my clothing to last, I choose my fabrics based on what will hold their shape over the years, my thread is the strongest I can buy, my needles are specially chosen for the fabrics I use. Everything down to the stitch is chosen for QUALITY and LONGEVITY. I stand behind my clothing and my Devis do as well. I cannot tell you how many women have told me they still wear their Devi items years later. This is because of the attention I pay to detail. So a quick thing I’d like to highlight today is the stitch chosen for my scruchie everything. I use a zigzag stitch that allows the fabric to stretch properly and not PULL. If you were to use a straight stitch there would be no room for stretch, no forgiveness. I see items being sold second hand with popped stitches from various makers and this may possibly be why. I cannot wait to tell you more about the behind the scene things I do to make your clothing stand the rest of time, but rest assured knowing that this is my first and final thought on my designs. Love you ladies. 💋💗✨ .
