As we go day to day in unfortunate times like these, we easily get discouraged, unmotivated, and we start to put mental blocks in our head.

But believe it or not, this moment is probably the greatest opportunity that you may have. I know that sounds crazy!

So why is that?

Not a single person in this world is alive just because. There's always a reason! Use this time to experiment, do the things you've always wanted to do, even the little things. Find what you're most interested in, find your passion, find...... your gift.

If we can change the current situation, change the way you react to it.

When the storm passes, and it will pass, you don't want to look back and regret the opportunity that you had the chance to leverage yourself and..... quite possibly......leverage others.

The shoulder is one if the most mobile joint in the body. Having full use and control of that mobility is crucial for a well functioning body and a nice platform to build strength on. .

If you can't get the arm fully overhead, your body will find a way to do so, especially when you need to press a heavy weight.
The picture on the left shows a common compensation for a lack of shoulder mobility. Because you run out of room at the 🙌 shoulder, that motion comes from somewhere else, and it is almost always from excessive low back extension. (Ribs flared and butt out) .

Done enough times, your low back becomes very 😣 sensitive to extension and you develop low back pain and shoulder issues. Instead, you want to keep the ribs tucked down, the pelvis neutral, and get balanced extension from both the thoracic and lumbar spine.

Increasing mobility in the shoulders is extremely important. Always take the time to properly warm up your shoulders and mobilize them prior and after lifting session. Stay tune and we'll show you how to keep your shoulders healthy, mobile and strong. .
