New: a vintage B. David "Mother's Crown brooch"! B. David was founded in Cincinnati in 1945 by Carl E. Martin and his wife, Marie. Named after their newborn son, David, the family produced high-quality, handcrafted costume jewelry until closing in 1993. Known for small, elegant workmanship, their pieces were known as "in case", meaning they were highly prized and kept in lighted showcases.

B. David is most famous for its Mother's Crown brooches. Custom made, featuring a cascade of premium Austrian crystals meant to represent birthstones of family members.
