Today is Collier’s birthday! 🎉💙
Oopsie Daisy & Co. was created for Collier.
He required a bit more attention than your average child, and a traditional, stable work schedule just wasn’t in the cards for me. I couldn’t find a position that offered the flexibility his needs required, so with a lot of faith, determination, and support, I was able to create one. Thank you, Lord…and thank you, Dustin. ❤️
Collier started this journey with me in a Pack ’n Play. He crawled up and down the hallway in the original shop, took some of his first steps among flowers and bouquets, and spent countless hours sitting in the window watching traffic go by. He always listened for fire trucks and anything loud, but tractors and sprayers were his favorite things to spot.
He learned to talk to customers at a very young age. His classic, “Hi customer, what you want?” quickly evolved into, “How can I help you? Do you want lilies or roses?”
Now he has his very own space, Collier’s Corner. He still loves sitting in the window, and these days he’s working double-digit hours each week right alongside us.
I am so thankful that this business has allowed me to keep him close. Oopsie Daisy has given me the freedom to chase my dream while chasing him, too. It’s allowed me to be there for drop-offs, pick-ups, appointments, school events, and countless memories made outside these walls.
But some of our sweetest memories have been made inside Oopsie Daisy.
Happy Birthday, Collier. Thank you for being the reason it all began. We love you more than words can say. 💙
