The updating and improving has been officially started. While waiting on shower updates, with began on moving fence up so that Bobbin had direct access to back yard. There will be a pet door from mud room into back yard and steps for her to come and go once the fence is completed. The fence will be shorter to because I like to be able to see over. Bobbin and I both will be so happy when it is done. Here are pictures of how the fence and gates look now and how far up the new fence and gate will be.

Here is my new kitty. His name is Blackie for obvious reasons. I have actually had him for a couple of weeks but he is so shy that he has been hiding in the basement and I have done nothing but get the smallest of glimpses of him. He is a sweetie though. Yesterday he decided that it was time to be a part of the family. Bobbin is afraid to go downstairs and kitty is afraid of bobbin for right now. Hopefully they will make friends like Mr kitty was. He is about a year old so he is really tiny compared to my other kitty but is a real sweet thing. He has a meow that sounds more like a dying chicken.

I stayed the first night in my new 97 year old house. It was wonderful to sleep in my own bed in my own house. Thank you to all that made it possible. For the family from my new church that came and unloaded the first truck, to my faithful and wonderful friend Leisa Meisch who came and helped pack, drove the truck and helped in so many ways, and to my uncle and cousins that came and helped unpack and organize. They helped get the door to the upstairs back up and hung curtain rods and much more. Expecting the second set of trucks today with furniture and the stuff that had been in the shipping container for almost a year. It will be like Christmas to see everything again. I predict a big garage sale in my near future.
