It’s time to DISCO BINGO! The Wy's Words Foundation is back this April at with another fun Bingo Night with amazing prizes! With 14 rounds of Bingo, incredible basket prizes donated by Southern Maryland Local Businesses, a 50/50 Raffle and a VACATION RAFFLE- this years Disco Bingo is sure to be a Groovy Great Time!

April, 24, 2025, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30pm

April is a special month for Wy's Words as it is Autism Awareness Month. As a nonprofit- Bingo has been our most sought-after event and which allows us to continue AAC Devices, create sensory friendly events, donate fundamental items and learning supplies to our Autistic community!

As part of our Autism Awareness Month celebration we will be hosting a few events to promote acceptance and inclusion within our community.

To kick it off, We are so excited to announce the 2nd Annual Sensory Day! Please join us on April 5th at Summerseat Farm, Inc. for a Family Friendly Play Day. We will have a variety of activities including a moon bounce, ball pit, face painting, food trucks, vendors and more!

Overmorrow Farm, LLC is our Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness. Overmorrow Farm, LLC was one of our vendors at Sensory Day and has since become our go to for floral arrangements and specialty gifts. This sweet small family business offers homemade simmer pots, chapstick, lavendar products, and floral arrangements, and then some!

We want to give a big thanks to Overmorrow Farm, LLC for supporting us this year! Make sure to give them a follow and pick up one of their amazing products.

On Day 8 of 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness, we want to give a BIG Thank You to Greenwell Foundation! The Greenwell Foundation has been a big part of our foundations success by supporting us during our events such as Sensory Day. They have also had a big impact on our community by creating an inclusive environment for individuals with special needs. They develop specialized programs to assist people and give them the opportunity to explore nature in a therapeutic way. There programs include Equine Therapy, Veterans Programs, Open the Outdoors and their various summer camps.

Take the opportunity and spend some time at Greenwell and experience all they have to offer!

Day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness goes to.... ! The team at Method has always supported our mission and wanted to help in anyway they could. They set up an amazing sensory friendly obstacle course at Sensory Day, donated to our bingo events and opened up their gym to special needs parents for weekly training sessions. We could not be more grateful for their support and all they do.

If you need a place to exercise has some of the best trainers and classes, you could take. Make sure to check them out when you start your fitness journey!

On Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness, we'd like to send a big THANK YOU to Amanda with ! Amanda has been one of our biggest supporters, attending all of our fundraising events, donating her amazing cookies and hosting a cookie decorating class in support of our cause. She's an amazing baker who creates beautifully delicious cookies in a variety of themes. We are incredibly grateful to have her support!

*We are a few days late on this our Day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas Gratefulness, thanks to a busy weekend enjoying friends and family during this wonderful season.*

On day 5 of 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness, we want to highlight Dawn Hale Campbell! Dawn Hale Campbell has been one of our biggest supporters since the beginning! She is always there to offer an encouraging word and help us in any way she can. She makes and donates the most beautiful baskets for our bingo events from things from her two shops in Shepherd's Old Field Market, Style by Dawn and Elements Outdoors.

We could not do what we do without Dawn Hale Campbell and are so grateful to have her in our corner, supporting and encouraging us every step of the way.

On day 4 of 12 Days of Christmas Gratefulness, we'd like to extend our gratitude to ! is a huge market building that offers small, local businesses the space to share their creativity in the form of their very own small shop. These shops offer a wide variety of goods including, candles, cookies (), clothing, clay creations, custom socks and even a barbershop!
