(7) Cooking Teams will be competing again this year in a variety of cook-off events starting Friday evening at 6:30 and ultimately striving to be awarded People's Choice Redneck Meat Master Saturday afternoon. So many ask “What IS Redneck Day?” And back in 2016, Tony Azzopardi (of Team Turn & Burn) put this simple but heartfelt video together that explains it all. EVERYONE from EVERYWHERE is welcome to come Eat, Sing, Dance, Play, and Make New Friends. ~ No strings attached. ~ It truly is just a bunch of hard working people from near and far who share in the love of good food and good fellowship for one weekend every year and expect nothing in return other than the joy it brings them to do it.
