Good Morning,
Yesterday’s verse went along with Voting Day, a wonderful privilege God has given us in this free country!
Today we have wonderful verses for the day after Voting Day.
*Remember there will always be people who are happy and others who are saddened. There will never be 100% agreement because we are human beings with different views and beliefs.
But God is the pilot, He is directing the course. We do not know His plans or reasoning for the course but here are verses all Christians can agree on!
Dr Charles Stanley puts it so beautifully.
II Chronicles 7:14 is a divine call to national repentance, humility and prayer, with God promising to hear, and heal a nation that responds in this way.
Dr. Stanley goes on to say;
This verse does not just apply to Israel it applies to any nation, including our own, when God calls His people to turn back to Him.
*He doesn’t care if we are a donkey or an elephant 😂
Dr Stanley reminds us that in Daniel 2:21 that ALL leaders are placed in their positions by God. This means God can remove them as easily as He installs them, and He can change the times and direction of any nation.
*So remember, God is always showing us something, teaching us something, and sometimes He is calling us to come together as a nation and pray for our country.
So enjoy your day in this fabulous country of ours, and continue to pray for our country no matter what side you are on. Jesus loves us all!
II Chronicles 6:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Daniel 2:21
21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
