Another First Friday event in Lewisburg, Ohio this Friday, May 1st from 5:00 - 9:00--many of our small, locally owned businesses will be open. Charley's great aunt, who was 100 years old and lived in this home since 1962, recently passed away and she had some fabulous and interesting items. Her home itself is a time capsule of a classic mid-century style home that people have commented is reminiscent of a single story Brady Bunch house...the house is filled with so many vintage household items and lots of good quality furniture. She had a lot of vintage clothing and costume jewelry as well as items reflective of a love of Japan, of birds and nature, and of the ocean. The address will be released tomorrow on the estate sales.net website. The sale starts Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Hope you are able to attend and find something that tickles your fancy!

Spring Fever! Are you ready to freshen up your home for spring and Easter?

Do you have a "style"? I'd love to hear about your style in the comments below.

Mine is definitely Eclectic Maximalist leaning Granny Chic Cottage Core with a little Boho Retro giving Cool Girl Vibes with some MCM, 70s Revival and Memphis Modern thrown in for good measure. (🤣 Yeah, I can't choose. I like elements of them all!!) One thing for sure is I'm not Minimalist. Somehow it all works!

By the way, those are all legit contemporary style profiles and don't get me started on Dark Academia, Gothic Victorian, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Greek Revival, Grandmillenial, Coastal, Farmhouse....the list goes on!

If this all makes your head spin, let C SHARP and the other AMAZING vendors at The Green Door do the first steps for you...we find the good stuff, clean it up and get it ready for you!

ANNOUNCING A NEW LOCATION FOR C SHARP!
The Green Door in Kettering, Ohio!

I still have my three booths ( #23) at Brick Rhod Antiques in Lewisburg, Ohio and I am THRILLED to officially announce that I have booth space at one of my favorite places to shop in Kettering--THE GREEN DOOR!

The Green Door is located at
2291 Patterson Road, Kettering, OH, 45420 and is truly a hidden gem in the Gem City area!
Open Tuesday - Saturday 11:00 - 5:00 with lots of special events and pop-ups throughout the year.

The store front is deceptive in that it looks smaller from the outside than it actually is when you get inside. If you like to explore multiple rooms filled with vintage items (including an array of Blenko and collectible art glass--swung vases, uranium glass, Viking, Fenton, and more) antiques, house plants, home decor, furniture, and some quaint and unusual finds, reasonably priced and frequently restocked, this is your place!

It really fits my Mid•Mod•Old•Odd vibe that is the hallmark of my shop.

There are currently 12 dedicated and creative vendors in addition to two other vintage stores in the same building. The Vintage Vault opened last year and The Upstairs Find (I think that's what it will be called) will be opening soon!

So if you love to thrift, vintage, and antiques shop, The Green Door is a great place to check out!

If you are getting cabin fever and just need to get out, head to Lewisburg, Ohio today for the Chocolate Walk! I can't tell you how much I miss having my little studio above the hardware and getting to see everyone, but I still have my booths ( #23) at Brick Rhod and I just re-stocked with lots of fun treasures! Businesses throughout the village have worked hard to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience for you!

The Sip and Shop event is at The Green Door in the Kettering area and if you have not checked it out yet, you are in for a treat (and a sip while you shop if you go on the 11th!) I JUST opened a booth there and am so excited to be among so many wonderful and sweet vendors who also love to connect old things with new homes.

I will be posting soon with updated pics of my spaces at both places...stay safe, stay warm, and thank you for continuing to support small, local businesses and our dreams! ❤️🤍🩷

Don't forget to continue the Shop Small state of mind in Lewisburg, Ohio tonight! Many of the small businesses will be open extra hours (5:00pm - 8:00 pm) on Friday, December 5th to accommodate your shopping needs! The owners of these businesses depend on YOU so be sure to visit them tonight! I've even heard that the "BIG GUY" is going to be posing for photos at Paisley Perfect Photography tonight! 🎅🎅🎅

Can't make it tonight? Plan to shop Lewisburg this Sunday, December 7th when stores are having Open House events throughout the village along with lots of activities that makes this the perfect holiday-themed village! Perfect for strolling and checking out the store fronts especially at Yankee Clover Mercantile and Brick Rhod Bistro and Antiques (oh and YOU MUST check out the gorgeous tree at Brick Rhod!)

Too bad that C SHARP Studio is no longer in Lewisburg to join in the festivities and see all of the shoppers! I miss seeing everyone! (You can still visit my three booths ( #23) at Brick Rhod!) 🌸🌸🌸
