📢There have been several various road signs being stolen/damaged in Albert Township.📢
But more importantly the person or persons stealing/damaging the signs are creating dangerous situations.
Missing signs can get innocent people killed.
Missing signs slow down the response for Emergency Services.🚓🚒🚑
🛑To report a missing STOP sign:🛑
If you see a missing stop sign, exercise extra caution, and report it immediately to the authorities by calling 911. 🚨
Provide location details: When you report it, give the exact location of the intersection so authorities can act quickly.
Residents who see suspicious activity such as someone striking or removing traffic signs should not approach, but should instead note the vehicle description, plate number and time and location before calling 911. 🚨
As taxpayers, the cost to replace a sign can range from approximately $100 to over $300 or more, depending on factors like the size of the sign, the type of materials, and labor costs.
