The La’ Marie Story/
The Heart Behind La’ Marie

Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved hats.

It started with vintage treasures -the kind you’d find tucked away in antique shops or old closets. I remember holding each one and imagining the woman who once wore it.
Where was she going?
What was her life like?
What stories did that hat witness?

I fell in love with the romance of it all -the gloves, the silhouettes, the old Hollywood glamour. Hats weren’t just accessories to me… they were memories, personality, and confidence you could wear.

As I grew up, my own collection grew too -wide brims, pillboxes, fedoras, even a favorite baseball cap (or twenty) . I’ve simply never met a hat I didn’t adore.

Then a few years ago, after seeing the breathtaking pageantry and style of Derby season all of my life, I decided to try creating my own.

And like most dreams in my life, I started with the most talented, artistic, and creative person I know -my mom.

I’m Staci Marie.
She’s La’Donna Lee.
Together, La’ Marie was born.

What began around her big kitchen table -my mom, my aunt, my step-mom,my daughter, and me, all passing ribbons, glue guns, feathers, and ideas back and forth -quickly became something bigger. Each piece made with laughter, storytelling, and a whole lot of heart.

Over time, our creations evolved into more than headwear.
We began designing complete looks -elevated accessories, jewelry, handbags, and now a carefully curated apparel collection (my mom’s true passion project).

Because we believe style should feel effortless and unforgettable.

From hat to hem, every detail matters.

La’ Marie is more than a brand ~it’s a mother-daughter partnership, a family tradition, and a love letter to timeless elegance.
