It’s been three years since I joined the Lex Running Shop team (can you believe it?) and my favorite part of the job is helping folks find the perfect shoe that works for them.

During the fit process I’m listening for those little details about their life that help narrow down the choices. There’s always a story behind WHY they need a running/walking shoe and during the conversation we might talk about marathon training, how to address plantar fasciitis, or what to consider when choosing a trail shoe.

Just this week I’ve helped a:
• monk who will be walking the trails in Nepal
• new dad making the time to get back into running
• college student training for a marathon
• hiker hitting the Canadian Rockies
• nurse at Kendall who’s on her feet all day
• retirees getting their daily steps

It’s a fun way to spend my day, and every day brings familiar scenarios and a few new ones.

Our very own Louise tiptoed through the tulips at the Keukenhof (the Netherlands) in her Primal Eco !

It took her 25K steps to see all 7 million flowers, with nary a complaint from her feet.

She says “These have turned out to be a great travel shoe, and you can bet I’ll be wearing them nonstop for the rest of my trip!”
