Oct. 11, 2021 - every day is a challenge as Norm loses more memories and daily tasks increase in answering repetitive questions to fill in his blanks. This seems to be the way life is going to go for some time ahead. I'm grateful for all the years I quilted; it has given me more patience than I ever thought I'd have for these daily challenges!! I'm definitely grateful!!

FYI update.

Hello, folks! I am working on a 7-decade journey art quilt that will be about 18" x who knows how long. It will take me the better part of a year, so Nov. 2020 is my personal deadline. I will attempt to add posts as I go along in order that you may see what I'm doing and get an idea of where I am going. The 7th decade is now bursting through the ground and ready to break open into actual fabric printing and quilting. Stay tuned!

Morning, folks!! It's been a while, but my creative brain apparently needed a break after I made "Janis..." She was just on show at Quilt Expo this past weekend and is now home again. I have begun to think on a new quilt that will star Megan Rapinoe and Aretha Franklin focused on RESPECT = EQUAL PAY = RESPECT. I'll be using paint on this one!! Wish me luck!!
