Hi friends! We had SUCH a nice time with Miriam Lightfoot on Saturday! Miriam read from her new chapter book, the Unusual Crime Solvers: the Paris Puzzle, and brought coloring sheets from the illustrations in the book! What a delight! She signed extra copies and we’ll have them in the store if you missed the event! Thanks so much Miriam, and thanks so much to everyone who joined in! ❤️❤️❤️

Story time adventures with on Saturday was so much fun!! We read the book I am Salsa, made a little music, danced a bit and decorated wooden maracas. Had spontaneous snacks (benefits of being located in a grocery store). So fun! Thank you so much ! Can’t wait to do it again ❤️❤️❤️

So many choices!! I had a hard time picking so I let the kids pick this morning for story time! We ended up reading Her Muddy Majesty of Muck (5⭐️), We are Definitely Human (a long time fave) and had an encore request from a tiny group of kids for a third book, so we read another all time fave: Pig Town Party. I really should read for story time more often… it was fun! 😂🍄❤️

Hi, friends! If you’ve been in the shop over the past few months you’ve probably seen this gem… we keep it in stock because it is an absolutely fabulous gift for kiddos in the 5ish and up age range! Created by one of our favorite authors and illustrators, Ingela P. Arrhenius, it has been on my wish list for our family for a long time! I was saving it for just the right moment when I was hoping for entertained children for a bit… and Mother’s Day seemed like a brilliant idea. Turns out… it was! So colorful and fun, and we just folded the house back up, and stored away the furniture in a bin for the next play.

Hi friends! Join us for a special story time this weekend with ! We will read outside as long as the weather allows!

Oh! And I had a question this weekend about the age range for our typical Saturday story time, so just wanted to clarify a bit! We typically read one or two picture books, which are generally intended for kiddos ages 3 and up. However, we almost always have a lovely variety of families with wildlings of ages, from babies on up to older kids, and all are welcome! ❤️❤️❤️
