I know I’ve been quiet in here lately. Big things are happening. Much change and tons of progress but everything happens for a reason! I’m super excited for this next season of life, albeit scared AF too 💕
Backstory: I’ve been owning and running Morgan + Mae Co single handedly for almost 3 years, having a failed business partnership, moving in and out of a brick and mortar storefront, facing a global pandemic, delays and shortcomings, celebrating growth and ebs and flows of business, dealing with personal/marital struggles, single motherhood, full time working mom, sudden homeschool teacher, moving homes, child health scares, crazy kids and my own mental health struggle. I have had amazing help from contracted cutters and seamstresses, my grandmas unwavering love and help, my dads unwavering support, emergency funding and belief in me and my abilities. It hasn’t been easy, and there are days when bankruptcy and quitting seem like the only solution to the stress of owning a shop but THIS is my passion and I would be crushed if I couldn’t design, create and produce for our adoring loyal customers and people I now call friends❤️
All this to say....
I was laid off on Wednesday from my ‘real job’ after 3 years with this company and nearly 10 years in the industry. This following my husbands layoff just last Friday. Terrifying right?!? Though I was shocked to say the least; ultimately I had been hoping and praying for an opportunity to quit so I am happy to say I wont be replacing this job with another corporate job but I will finally be able to put 200% into Morgan + Mae Co FULL TIME, while I try to prove to my husband this shop can replace my full time income 🙏🏻
My husband will be moving to Texas full time as of next week, and we will be adjusting as a family and I’ll be focusing on reorganizing, and planning for Morgan + Mae Co to grow and propel forward in the coming weeks and months!
I am thrilled to report we have cut almost all orders we have fabric on hand for, including the last Pick a Box, all destashes, shop the bins, R18, R20, R21... fab Friday orders and more. We have a LOADED sewing queue of about 200 revolving items to be completed and shipped and still have fabric arriving for other preorders like bday celebration, R24, R25, (overdue) R26 and R27 (due now/soon).
I am still sitting on TONS AND TONS of fabric in the shop, ready to be cut and sewn into custom items just for you, so we will be hosting shop the bins on several days coming up, and if there is something you’re looking for please let us know so we can make it for you.
Simply put, let’s keep this train moving. We’re catching up, and now I am very confident we will be able to meet our TAT and hopefully be ahead of schedule for future orders.

I will be out of pocket Tuesday- Sunday next week but have scheduled some things you’re sure to love, I’ll be available virtually but won’t be at the shop to answer questions, cut, sew or pack and ship.
