Hawai’i Fashion Week is a private organization established in 2010. The vision for Hawai’i Fashion Week is to establish the islands as the premier destination to showcase contemporary accomplishments of Hawai’i and International artist within the Applied Arts industry.
The vision of Hawai’i Fashion Week is supported with a mission to establish the Hawai’i Design Center, a network of design centers established on each of the major populated Hawaiian Islands. The Hawai’i Design Center provides the community of Artist with opportunities to Network, Collaborate, Showcase and Continue Educational opportunities in various fields of study within the Creative Arts Industry.
Hawai’i Fashion Week continues to be a series of premier exhibitions featured on the island of Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Hawai’i Island. These exhibitions showcase the contemporary accomplishments of select individuals within the Applied Arts industry. Hawaii Fashion Week continues to be a production of The Figaroa Collection a private corporation established in 2009 by Hawaii entrepreneur Joseph K. Figaroa with a vision to connect various cultures of Hawaii with the International community through a language of art. The Figaroa Collection represents various regional Artist within the luxury market of Apparel, Accessories, Jewelry and Interior fashions.
