Intricately carved, needlepoint seat chair. Stamped on the bottom W.T. Kilborn Company, Portland, ME. They were a high end carpet manufacturer and store at 24 Free St. in Portland established 1900. Was this in an office, in the store? Was this used by the workers who toiled in their craft? Not sure, but the history is definitely in this piece. Not yet in our booth (expected June 27), but available. DM if interested.
