Honored, humbled, and speechless…Bat Cave Volunteer Fire Department we are sending you a total of $5,261.45 🙌🏼
Hurricane Helene has destroyed so much, but if there is one thing we’ve seen it restore, it’s our faith in camaraderie and humanity within people of this community and outside of it. So many people have come together to make this donation possible.
As promised, Danielle Abbott, pledged to donate $5 for every shirt up to $500. We surpassed this amount, so her husband, Joe Abbott, matched this, and also contributed $500 as well! 🙌🏼
18 shirts were purchased specifically for donation to those in need in the Bat Cave, NC community.

While this fundraiser was for the people of Bat Cave, NC, I feel we all truly benefited from this. We all learned to love, appreciate, and be kind to strangers again. That was our goal here, for everyone to come together, stick together, and be kind and understanding. We never truly know what everyone is going through, but we can always be sure that we do our part in making someone’s day a little better!
