Keenan’s gearing up to summit a 17,000-foot peak in Kyrgyzstan’s Karavshin region (say that three times fast) and didn't want to leave without his new Alpha 90 in Red Oak.

So, of course, we hand-delivered it straight to Somerville, Mass. Now he’s ready for the big push and Burgeon's first foray into Kyrgyzstan... that we know of 🏔️.

There are plenty of reasons to carry a heavy pack into the White Mountains.
Watermelon usually isn’t one of them.

Our man Nick, recently carried fresh fruit, real bacon and plenty of watermelon to Greenleaf Hut as a thank-you to the croo members whose work makes so many days in the mountains better.

The pack was heavy. The reason behind it was simple. “Kindness keeps us going.”

Wednesday night, the best meteor shower of the year hits its brightest. With no moon to wash it out, the sky will be the darkest it's been for the Perseids since 2018.
