Sonidera en la Ciudad ™️ is a community-first event curated by Ángelita 🌹 , owner and founder of 🇲🇽 Bailes, Jaripeos & Eventos 🪩NY NJ DMV🪗🎷

This event will feature four iconic Mexican “Sonideros”, an iconic style of music popular in places like Puebla and in Mexico City:

Ivan Cantor representing Sunset Park and La Mixteca Poblana

Amores “el Amor del Pueblo” de San Luis Potosí 🇲🇽

Jason Solis DJ JASON representing Atlixco Puebla, is among one of the youngest Sony that was in New York City, the 21 year old has quickly become a local favorite started DJing Cumbia Sonidera when he was only 17 years old.

Our audio is sponsored by sonido emperador and we are proud to have a Sonidero from New Jersey join us for this iconic event at Hudson Yards.

but it doesn’t stop there: this event was made possible with the support of the following vendors who will be at the event selling things like Mexican and Ecuadorian streetwear, fútbol jerseys, Crystal jewelry, charm necklaces, gold, plated, jewelry, and f**k-ice hoops, cachuchas, baby tees, Mexican artesanias, anime tshirts and pins, AND a Photo Booth where you can purchase a five dollar photo strip como un recuerdo.

Sonidera en la Ciudad is our way of saying gracias a nuestra comunidad. Gracias por seguir luchando por sus sueños y el bienestar de la comunidad. Gracias por estar presentes y por creer en nosotros. Nuestra música y cultura es para todos, en mi corazoncito está feliz al saber que pudimos abrir un espacio seguro para todos las edades de la comunidad.
