What if the clothes you're saving for “someday” are keeping you from loving yourself today?

Good morning friends,

Last week I had a conversation with a friend that stuck with me.
We were talking about closet cleanouts and all those pieces we keep hanging in the back corner for "someday."

You know the ones.
The jeans that fit ten years ago.
The dress we're saving for when we lose twenty pounds.
The top we spent good money on and just can't seem to let go of.

And it got me thinking...

Those "someday clothes" often hold us hostage against one of our core values of helping women love who they are in this moment. Not ten pounds from now. Not when life slows down. Not when things are perfect.

Right now.

Because life changes. Our bodies change. Seasons change.

What if instead of keeping those clothes as a reminder of who we used to be, or who we think we should become, we gave them a new purpose?
*Donate them.
*Gift them to a friend.
*Sell them to someone who will love wearing them today.

Then make room for pieces that fit your body now. Pieces that make you smile when you put them on. Pieces that feel comfortable, confidence-giving, and wonderfully you.

Your closet should support you, not shame you.

So here's my question for you this morning:
What is hanging in your closet that is holding you hostage today?

Maybe this week is the week you finally let it go.

I’m LOVING the two new styles of Risen denim shorts we have in! Both have good stretch, a similar fit(at least for me) to our other denim shorts brands, and the CUTEST details. Which style do you need, paisley or scalloped??
