Established in 2012, MQP is a fully working pottery studio & retail gallery. Pottery classes & more! We will not refund a class once it has been taken or missed.

Mud Queen Pottery will not refund missed, cancelled, or rescheduled classes less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time. If you don’t show up to your class, you are considered a "no-show" and will not be refunded. If you have signed up for an 8-week class, once your first class has been taken, you are no longer eligible for a refund if you cancel your session. Preparing for classes costs us time and materials, and saving a spot that doesn’t get used takes it away from another person waiting to take a class. Outside of the 48 hour timeframe, classes may only be rescheduled free of charge once.

Last spooky mug drop this season! The mug shelf is full!

10/23/2026

Well, we tried to get the glazing and firing done in time to bring in the last spooky mug drop today- but unfortunately when you make pottery, you get used to all the things that can mess up your kiln plans! Some days I wish I could make easier things. But nahhhh, I love what I do! We just re-adjust! Spooky mug drop tomorrow, not today! The kiln is cooling, but still at 1,200° so it will take most of the day to cool then I sand and wash and prep for the shelves. See you all tomorrow!

A few spooky mugs available in the shop today! Our last Halloween mug drop will be this Friday at 11am! There will be 12 new mugs coming in, with black Jack*O*Lantern mugs, along with white, yellow and orange. And one Coraline inspired with button eyes 🎃💀🕷️👻

See you soon!

Sorry folks! We are closed today! Back open tomorrow morning for regular hours, thanks for understanding 💖

The retail will be open at 10am this Wednesday! Mugs are all inspected, bottoms sanded, washed and priced. And now on our mugs shelves! Yay! I'm pretty smitten with this batch of cuties! Thanks to Maggie for teaming up with me to make these so special ♥️🕷️💀🎃👻

We've been getting the prettiest yellow pumpkins from the "Tomato Man" down the block. And I just happened to have made a glaze in almost the same color. We're loving it on these mugs and pumpkins!

Spooky mug drop! A great group of Mud Queen Halloween mugs hit the shelf this Wednesday morning. Come get them while you can. This is only a few, but I have a favorite. Can you guess 💀🕷️

Happy Fall Y'all! We've started filling the pottery shop with some great soothing fall colors! 🍁🍂 These gorgeous mugs hit the mug wall today! And behind the scenes we're getting our jackolantern and skull and spider mugs ready!

Yay!!!! A shiny new kiln is always so exciting! We're excited to put this beautiful new L&L to good use. Welcome to the gang squatty! ☺️

We haven't had a chance to post much lately, but I wanted to share a picture of some of the mugs from our mug class. These are always a pleasure to unload from the kiln! Each student took the time, with instruction, to create their own unique mug and we think they did an amazing job! They turned out really beautiful. We have a couple of mug classes added to the class shop on the website, join us and make your own mug!
