OLIPHANT officially launched in the summer of 2010 but has theoretically been in the works for quite some time. Cara spent a number of years searching for the unique and avant-garde while dreaming up ways to create her ideas. Friends and family were often the recipients of her fun and beautiful designs. Throughout her youth, she was fortunate enough to do a fair amount of traveling with her family

and drew on inspiration from all the beautiful and diverse cultures, customs and styles she encountered along the way. Oliphant has been featured on a number of blogs and magazines including Lonny Magazine.
