Thank you, thank you to everyone that stopped by Phyllbena's today! I am still getting compliments on my shop and regrets by some that just found it because it's liquidating. And I'm excited that a big load of it is headed to Round Top in Texas!
Apparently Phyllbena's has had the good stuff all along, but just passed by many. I've tried to provide good old stuff and display it in an orderly and appealing manner. I've put in the work, picking 99% off the treasures in here, and also invested in a building in this town. But somewhere along the line I fell short. But that's okay, because I've loved living my dream.
Today again, I had a customer make herself a pile of goodies. As I was wrapping and packing them for her, I came across a broken piece, conveniently placed on the inside of the set so it wouldn't be noticed. I told her I could not sell it to her broken. She was disappointed and I lost a sale. That's the way it goes here. If you break it, just tell me. Thank God I caught it and didn't send it home with her! 😥
