We’re excited to highlight three talented local authors and creators during Neighbors Night Out on June 20th from 5 PM–9 PM!

🌙 Sleepy Town Adventures will be located at the front of the Railyard Pavilion, offering books for purchase, signed copies, coloring pages, and a special photo opportunity with the Brother and Sister of Sleepy Town.

📖 The Sprouting Author will be inside the newly remodeled Off the Rails Marketplace & Venue, offering book sales and book signings.

🎨 If Life Comics will also be inside the newly remodeled Off the Rails Marketplace & Venue with comics available for purchase and signing opportunities.

We invite you to come meet these amazing creators, hear their stories, and support their work by taking home a signed book or comic.

Happy Birthday to Paul McCartney! 🎂🎸

It's hard to imagine a world without his music. From The Beatles to Wings and beyond, Paul helped create the soundtrack of so many lives, including mine.

The Beatles have always been my favorite band, and Paul's songs still make me smile every time I hear them.

Here's to the man who gave us "Hey Jude," "Let It Be," "Blackbird," and so much more.

Happy Birthday, Sir Paul. Thanks for the music. ❤️✌️

On this day in Hippie History, June 18, 1966... one of the weirdest little "right place, right time" moments in rock history happened at a drunken college gig in Oxford.

The band was The Yardbirds. The bassist was Paul Samwell-Smith. The future guitar god waiting in the wings was Jimmy Page.

Somewhere between the music, the booze, and whatever chaos was happening that night, Samwell-Smith decided he'd had enough and quit the band.

Now here's the crazy part.

Jimmy Page had originally been brought in as a second guitarist. One of the most legendary guitar players who ever lived... suddenly finds himself playing bass because somebody walked out.

Can you imagine being in that room? Just watching some random lineup shuffle, having absolutely no clue you're witnessing a tiny piece of rock history.

Of course, Page wouldn't stay on bass for long. A couple years later The Yardbirds would fall apart, and from those ashes he'd build a little band called Led Zeppelin.
