Dear Weasels,

The time has come for me to announce the changing future of Crying Weasel Vintage. Our storefront will be closing in the late spring, and the shop will pivot to pop-up markets and focus on online sales.

The reality of it all is that this shop is too expen$ive for me to handle as a one-person endeavor. I love and appreciate all the shop pals that have helped Crying Weasel stay open along the way, but it’s turned into a cycle of never making ends meet, and actually burning all the ends of all the candles.

Crying Weasel is and always will be an integral part of what makes me tick. I love helping you find your style, try out something new, or just be introduced to the wacky world of vintage clothing in general, and I don’t plan to stop doing that any time soon. I really feel like stepping away from the brick-and-mortar business model will actually help the shop grow in all kinds of ways. I’ll have more time to focus on altering and reworking pieces (and just generally fuel the creative aspect of Crying Weasel,) travel with the shop more, and hone my styling skills. Having time to focus on things that are the whole point of Crying Weasel instead of constantly worrying about making rent will be the most welcome reprieve.

Our last day open is be TBD, but will be sometime in May. I still have big plans for this ol’ gal, so please stay with me!

Introducing 🫧 𝒲𝐸𝒜𝒮𝐸𝐿 𝒲𝒜𝒮𝐻 🫧

For years, I’ve made my own laundry detergent and most of what has come through the shop has been washed with it! It’s gentle on skin and fabric (and more sustainable than buying from BIG LAUNDRY) and now it’s available at Crying Weasel!

I made a cedar wood-scented version for your knits, because why bother with a cedar chest when you have a cedar wash amirite???

ALSO! Return the bottle when you come in for the next round and get a 10% discount on your next wash!
(((These are $12 a pop, which is about $1.50 per load just fyi)))
