It’s with a heavy heart—and a lot of frustration—that I’m sharing this news.
We’ve been informed that Painted Tree Marketplace has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and the store is now closed. Vendors were given just 10 days to remove everything, with little notice.
This has been incredibly difficult—not just for me, but for so many small business owners.
Many of us have not received payment for this month, along with other past “mess up” months that were never properly resolved. That’s real money, real inventory, and years of hard work on the line.
For me, this represents 10 years of dedication, growth, and building something I truly love.
But here’s what I do know—we’re not stopping.
