Vintage 1940’s RARE Hooded Woolrich Mills Solid Red Wool Field Coat + Pants Set!

In excellent, pre-owned, vintage condition. Some flaws shown in photos of pants. Interior wool of pants is like new. Only flaws noted on the jacket are a few small stains throughout and a couple small pinholes, otherwise fantastic condition for this late 1940’s sets age.

The jacket features large front pockets, with all original hardware, snap buttons and melamine buttons. Interior of the jacket is like new, no flaws noted of any kind. Has two breathable zippered openings on each side. Features a RARE zippered hood that can be worn up or down. The arm cuffs are adjustable with original buttons. Interior cuffs of the jacket are like new. Even the labels are still in excellent shape, although the size tag has been rubbed bare.

Flaws noted in pants -

Small pin holes as shown in photos, only a few noted. The interior button closure has been replaced. There is a small hole in the stitching underneath one of the pockets as shown in photos. A little bit of fraying of one pant leg cuffs. Some staining throughout the knees and seat of the pants as shown in photos. All suspender buttons are intact.

Woolrich Woolen Mills of Pennsylvania EST 1830, made this gorgeous coat in the 40s, 50’s. With the high popularity of vintage clothing, this jacket has become a classic favorite. While there are several variations, this version is the most detailed I have ever seen. This piece is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of American clothing.

Would best fit a men’s XL, there is no legible size, estimated size is about 40-42. Please check measurements for best fit.

As the year 2023 comes to an end, I’ve been thinking a lot about all of the people that have made this year as good as it could possibly be.

I am so thankful to everyone who supported this year with a purchase, a follow or a shared a post. It’s been a pretty tough year but I’m looking forward to what the next one has in store.
