Zoe Loomis Handmade

Zoe Loomis Handmade Handmade goods. Sewn one at a time in Peru, Vermont. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by.... These are my treasures.

I have been creating things my entire life. I'm captivated by texture and color, by the beauty in the mundane details of everyday life. Chipped paint, weathered facades, open fields, and skies that stretch on forever. Never quite polished, alway a bit of imperfection. Welcome to my online studio. Here you will find my hand made pieces for women and children. Each piece is made by me, in my studio

in southern Vermont. I have two main lines; my Basics Line and my One-off Line. The Basics line is my line of linen clothing for women and children. I favor simple, classic forms and pieces that are not only beautiful, but comfortable and adaptable to your unique style. These pieces can be custom ordered in your chosen size and color. There is an approximate 2 week turnaround on these pieces. The One-off Line is my collection of truly one of a kind pieces. These are my fantasies, my tangents, and my precious little experiments. For the most part you will find hand sewn dolls and whimsical girls' dresses in this line. It is the place where I let my imagination go wild. All pieces in this line are complete and ready to ship. If you see something in my One-off line that you love, but that just isn't the size that you need, feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to create a similar piece especially for you. Thanks so much for stopping in. I hope you too can find the little bits of beauty on the road less travelled.

“Equality for Women Means Progress for All”. That’s the rough translation of this amazing deadstock fabric that I recently found. Seems like a fitting statement in these current times.

This is one of the new crops that I’ve just listed. As always, one of a kind, and available until they aren’t 🌞

If you need me, you’ll have to wait. We’ve escaped to the coast for a week of recharging, relaxing, and doing as little as possible. I’ll be back in the studio in mid July.

So sometimes life twists in a funny way. I didn’t make it to the South End Block Party today due to circumstances beyond my control. It’s a bummer for me, because I was really looking forward to the food trucks, but sort of a win for any of you who have been waiting on a drop of new crops from me. I’ve just listed a whole bunch of them that I made specifically for the market. So now you don’t have to be in Burlington to take a look at them.

On a side note, I’ll be headed out on a little break to dip my toes in the ocean and hunt for wild blueberries. All orders placed after Friday will ship on July 15 when I’m back in the studio.
