Some days we’re outside, living our best lives. Other days, getting out of bed feels like an Olympic sport. And sometimes, both happen in the same 24 hours. 🫠
That’s life with a dynamic disability. Our symptoms fluctuate, our energy levels change, and what we can do today might look completely different tomorrow.
So yes, you might catch us dancing, traveling, laughing, looking cute, and having the time of our lives. 💃🏾✨ And you have no idea what it took to get there, how much rest we needed beforehand, or how we’ll feel afterward.
We deserve to enjoy our good days without having to defend our bad ones. PERIOD. 👏🏾
To my fellow chronically ill cuties: I see you. Enjoy those good days, honor the hard ones, and never feel guilty for finding joy wherever you can. 🧡
May your symptoms be quiet and your joy be LOUD! 🦋
