We opened unsOund surf shop because we felt there was a real void in the New York surf community, and to this day we strive to make New York a better place to be a surfer. Together we have over 40 years experience in the surf industry. We have assembled the best surf team in New York to help test all the items we sell and to keep up with all the latest industry products and trends. We stock most o

f the industry's leading products ranging from surfboards, wetsuits, skateboards, snowboards, clothing for men and women, footwear, bikinis and a full range of surf accessories. Our services include:

Stop on by and pick up what you need, we stock most items you may need during your travels from tropical wax and reef booties for that trip to indo , to a hooded 5mm wetsuit or Heated wetsuit vest for that trip to Iceland. We also have extensive travel experience ( Indo, South Africa, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Ireland, Portugal, England, California, Fiji, Canada, US Virgin Isle's, Coney Island and pretty much every state on the Eastern seaboard ) so we can answer many of the questions you may have and help you save time and money when you book that trip of a lifetime.. At unsOund surf we also try to stay very active in the community. Over the years we have helped and worked with many charitable organizations including Long Beach Christmas Angel , Tommy Brull Foundation , JDRF , W4W , American Cancer Society, Long Beach Surfers Association, Long Beach High School Surf Club, Surf For All and many more. Washed out a bit right now but possibly cleaning up later today. Definitely for more experienced surfers right now. Surf is in the 6-8ft plus range right now and getting bigger throughout today. Waves will continue for a few days but smaller each day.
