I went to prom 100 years ago in the era of big permed bangs, but the selection of gowns we have at Racks is getting me so nostalgic! We have LOTS in all sizes and they are only $35! It’s worth a look before you spend one million dollars at the mall. One of the events we have talked about for years but never gotten off the ground is a Mom Prom. I think it would be so fun! And, what a coincidence, I know somewhere I could get a dress for just $35…

Soon it will be the time of year when my pale legs emerge from the safety and protection of long pants. They will look out of place and ridiculous. I imagine them blinking slowly and with confusion while staring up at a sun they haven’t seen since last year, then they hiss at me and try to scramble back to the shadows where they feel more comfortable. Point is, shorts will be out next week. To make room, jeans will be 50% off Wednesday and Thursday, and $1 Friday and Saturday. All jeans are included in the 50% sale, even high end! We will be filling in with new stock as things sell, so definitely check back. You might want to wear sunglasses so my winter legs don’t accidentally cause corneal damage.

I looked it up, and the last time women’s pants regularly cost $1 was in the 1930s. So as I see it you have two options if you only want to spend $1 on jeans- come to Racks this Saturday, or build a functional time machine in your garage. You are a person with autonomy and free will, so definitely go with whichever option seems like the best fit for you. At Racks on Saturday you can also get shoes for $1, and kids clothes for fifty cents. With the homemade time machine you might accidentally rip a hole in the universe. That seems like a lot of risk for cheap pants, but what do I know.

Racks is proud to supply the prom dresses for this amazing event benefiting West Morris Central’s Unified program. The inclusive fashion show will be held on February 21st at the WMC auditorium. Tickets are only $5!
If you are looking for a prom dress or a formal gown, be sure to check out Racks- we have so many that are both beautiful and affordable. And a handful that are tacky and affordable. And perhaps one or two that are straight up hideous, but affordable! (The models did not select these, for some reason)

Three days ago we found about 15 bags of high end winter shoes and boots hiding in the storage loft. Naturally, we panicked, frantically priced everything, and put them out. Then we decided to have a bag sale this weekend. Everything is half price Thursday and Friday, then bag sale Saturday. We are too tired to move the shoes back for half price days. We are also leaving our high end racks out. You’re welcome. DEFINITELY come in, the shoe deals especially are fantastic. I’m sure there are fantastic deals on the men’s and workout racks too, but those are boring so I didn’t check.

Our holiday rack will be half price today and Saturday! And free on Tuesday! (It’s gonna be the weird stuff left… but it’s free and weird).
We will be closed December 24-26, but be sure to stop by on a day we are not closed because we have a bunch of very pretty NYE dresses available. Also we have a whole big rack of comfortable at-home pants if your New Years plans are the same as mine, which is to not go anywhere and then fall asleep at 9:45.

Have you ever wanted to go to Racks on a Sunday but you can’t because we are closed and the door is locked? Try it today! Different result! We are open from 3-6 for Holiday Happenings, and have such fun things ready for you. We put out all our Christmas wear, all our furs, and all our snacks. Giveaways! Hot chocolate! Kids can write letters to Santa! Festive spirit! This lady hiding in the back because she is basically the Grinch! See you later for the party (except you won’t see me on account of the hiding).
