I learned this early in production.
Quality control is the hardest and most exhausting part of the whole process. It takes time, focus, and people who really care about the details.

I’ve seen what happens when QC gets rushed or treated like a cost to cut. Problems don’t show up right away. They show up later, when everything is already sewn and expensive to fix.

That’s why I always tell clients this. If a factory cuts corners at the quality control stage, it’s better not to start production at all.

QC is not where you save money. It’s where you protect the entire line.

For preorders, we’re doing a lot behind the scenes while we wait for the units to arrive. We finish grading the patterns, lock in the fit, and get all the trims, labels, and notes ready for the sewing and quality control teams.

We also make sure the fabric has all shrinkage removed at the dye house before anything gets cut. That way, once the units show up, production can start right away.
