and Earle recently opened up about testing positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation -> something they learned through genetic testing after their mom's breast cancer diagnosis.

Speaking about something this personal in public takes real courage, and we're so glad to see hereditary cancer risk becoming a conversation more women are having. 💗

Because here's the truth: breast cancer isn't just an older woman's disease. In 2022 alone, 27,136 women under 45 were diagnosed, and rates in younger women have been rising every year since 2001.

That's why we created the She's Not Too Young Fund with and donated $400,000 to BCRF to fund critical research focused on younger women.

1mm. That's the number we kept fighting over. 👀

Once we scrapped the tape version, Yehchee had to build a b**b tape out of a material nobody uses for b**b tape: silicone. No cotton, no acrylic glue. A skin-safe silicone that grips instead of yanking. Which meant starting from zero. Pattern sketches, dozens of shapes, and rounds of samples measured with calipers because a fraction of a millimeter is the difference between invisible under a white top and a visible ridge, between holding all day and sliding by hour two.

Then we put it on real bodies and marked it up to see exactly where it moved. 😅

Sweat, heat, hours, real chests, real sizes. Every round that failed told us what to change. Our Product Developer Yehchee is walking you through how the first silicone b**b tape actually got made.
