The first episode of Dukes, "One Armed Bandits" prominently featured the downtown square in Covington, GA. Fortunately this area still looks very much like it did 47 years ago!

The pretty young lady from the Dukes of Hazzard season 2 episode, "The Rustlers," is actress Dorothy Collier, who played the role of Sherry Tolliver. She married James Best in 1986. (Becoming the real Mrs. Rosco P. Coltrane!)
Years after Dukes wrapped up filming, Dorothy would accompany James Best to his many celebrity appearances. She worked with him on film and theater projects, contributing her own talents and business acumen to their creative endeavors.
After James Best passed away in 2015, Dorothy still attended Dukes of Hazzard events. And still does! She will be at Rogie's Hazzard Hangout in Lexington, Alabama on June 20, 2026.
She also continues to support local theater.
Trivia: When John Schneider was producing an independent film around 2005, the title "Collier & Co," and the character name J.R. Collier, was inspired by Dorothy's maiden name.
