I wanted to create a witchy version of an oversize tee...thus Häxan was born.

Our designs exist as part of a living collection-
The silhouettes and cuts remain, while fabrications evolve as limited editions.

Here Häxan is paired with the Medua Jellyfish Mini Skirt.
Both pieces are crafted from a beautiful Chantilly la e with embroidered cord throughout- romantic, textured, yet graphic.

The Witch Veins on each piece are created from layers of rolled tulle, designed to bring depth, movement, and a sense kf dark romance.

For the wild and untamed women 🩷

I feel like a film director who's medium is fashion.
For 'Girl, Interrupted' my watchlist included films that focused on feminine rage, witches, and misunderstood women.
Häxan is a silent film from 1922 that goes over the history of witchcraft, and shines a light of the injustices and fear that was inflicted over innocent women.

For 'Girl, Interrupted' I really wanted to explore a variety of textures that expressed feminine rage.

Our "Intentionally Fu**ed Up " technique is a mixture of hand massaging fabric, strategically pulling out threads, and trimming edges to create flow.
Hours of work and planning go into every piece that features this technique.
It looks effortless, but it requires discipline...
Chaotic Couture if you will.

I pray that the collective feminine rage can be transformed into something beautiful.

The majority of the women who were convicted of Witchcraft were hung, not burnt
🩷
It was very important to me to capture this fact in our lookbook.
During the research for 'Girl, interrupted', I learned a lot about the injustice of women through the ages.
If a woman was intelligent, strong willed, a rich widow, or even old, that was enough to convict her of witchcraft.
It was never about the fear of the Satan, it was always about the fear of strong women.

That's why I created the FUERTE Corset 🩷
This single piece holds with it my strong will, my curiosity, my desire for education, my need for self expression.

Crafted using traditional ballet corsetry techniques, each piece takes about 6 weeks to complete.
Each piece is custom made and as unique as the woman that own them.
If you feel drawn to this message, you're probably the granddaughter of a witch they could not convict.
