The Kiterati Literati have been in my care for a few weeks now. Unfortunately, the littlest one pictured here took a turn for the worse and had to go to urgent care last Sunday. The vet tested vitals and kitten was Negative for Parvo, and had started to perk up. By Monday he was playing again, eating and seemed on the mend. Unfortunately, Thursday evening I found him collapsed on the ground clinging to life, he did not pull through😪. Completely heartbreaking outcome to what initially seemed like a successful rebound. These are pictures of all the littles together sleeping and hanging with their moms. While I am currently fostering, the remaining three kittens and their mom they will need to find homes. The mom was likely dumped as she is sweeter and more affectionate than my cat crew.I would love to work with a shelter and has been generous with her time and resources to link me up with a foster and rescue. My friends it takes a village and every micro community action ripples into a better society at large. I know it feels minor, and overwhelming simultaneously but, ideally we need to keep this family out of the shelter system. They are well beyond capacity! If these kittens go to the shelter, they will need to make room for them by euthanizing other furries in need. So please help me get the word out and let’s do something small and big all at once. They will not be ready to be adopted for at least another 4 to 5 weeks. They will all need to get vaccinated and spayed/neutered. ❤️ please share with your friends and family let’s find a safe spot for this crew.
