No matter what we create, it must have movement.
One dimension flowing into another, and then another.
In clothing, it’s texture and cut—the way a textile falls around the body, catches the light, and moves as you walk.
In painting, it’s layers upon layers of custom color that are never quite stagnant. A sharpness juxtaposed with a soft blend. Something unexpected that pulls you in, makes you look again, makes you think.
And in a space, it goes beyond layering and texture. It’s the mood that meets you the moment you enter. The tension between light and shadow, old and new, softness and structure.
Whatever the medium, I want it to create a feeling.
A moment. What do you feel when you enter this space?
