"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy. He does not pay for insurance policies. He does not buy fuel, does not pay for the necessary maintenance and repairs. He does not use paid parking. He does not cause serious accidents. He does not require multi-lane highways. He does not get fat.
Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).
On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."

P.S. Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy bicycles.

European forests have been growing by 1,500 football pitches every day!
Paper is a uniquely-renewable and sustainable product. The main raw material, trees, are grown and harvested in a carefully controlled and sustainable way – so successfully that European forests, where most of the raw material comes from, have grown by an area the size of Switzerland in just 10 years.

Let's save the planet together and have some fun along the way.

You’d have to be blind or have your head buried deep in sand not to have noticed how unhappy the planet is right now. It’s bad. But being an optimist, a glass always half full type of person, I know that if we play our part we can turn this climate crisis around. It’s going to require serious investment in education, and the collaboration of individuals, businesses, corporations and governments to safeguard our unique environment and meaningful existence.

I'm using my skills as a designer to bring some of the key issues to life and I pledge 10% of any profits I make to one of the following charities; Woodland Trust and the WWF.
