Leehwa Wedding & Hanbok was honored to sponsor the hanbok for this beautiful underwater photography project by artist Jeff Yeon French Q Studio

“We first encountered the world within our mother’s womb, and that was our very first home.”

Inspired by this meaningful concept, we created a hanbok by blending four different colors, allowing the layers, colors, and silhouette to flow naturally with the movement of the water.

The hanbok came together beautifully with the emotion and artistic vision of the underwater photography.

The moment I received the finished photographs, I found myself thinking about my own first home—a place I cannot remember, yet somehow deeply miss.

It was truly meaningful for Leehwa Wedding & Hanbok to be part of such a beautiful and emotional work of art.

I’m honored to be featured through Kim’s Convenience at the Ahmanson Theatre.

For over 36 years in Koreatown, I have carried on a 4th-generation legacy of textile craftsmanship.
Hanbok is not just clothing — it is identity, memory, and the expression of who we are.
