Meet David Kahn — the longtime stylist trusted by Tampa Bay Lightning Head Coach Jon Cooper for over 11 years, and the creative force behind the Lightning coaching staff’s iconic looks for the NHL Stadium Series.

At Raymond James Stadium, the world wasn’t just watching hockey — it was watching Tampa. Before the puck dropped, Coach Cooper led the entrance in a Cuban-inspired white suit, red shirt, gold chain, and fedora — a bold reference to Scarface and a tribute to the city’s deep cultural roots.

Tampa’s Cuban heritage, centered in historic Ybor City, is an inseparable part of its identity. As Coach Cooper described it, the look was “a tip of the cap to the heritage in Tampa.”
