The world of animation has lost another gifted artist. 🕊️

Mexican animator Luis De La Rosa Obregón has reportedly passed away at the age of 34 following a tragic accident in France after attending the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Throughout his career, Luis helped bring countless beloved animated productions to life. His credits include Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Space Jam: A New Legacy, My Little Pony, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: The Series, Carmen Sandiego, Animaniacs, and Knights of Guinevere.

At this year's Annecy Festival, he was also presenting his original project, Ash Raider World, showcasing his creativity, passion, and dedication to the art of animation.

While audiences often celebrate the finished films, it is artists like Luis who work behind the scenes to create the unforgettable moments that inspire millions around the world. His contributions to animation will continue to live on through the stories he helped bring to life.

Rest in peace, Luis De La Rosa Obregón.

Your talent, creativity, and legacy will never be forgotten. 🕊️
