I started Deep Blue a few years ago after seeing plastic-covered beaches in Bali, Mexico, Haiti, and some other parts of the world.

Not like, a little trash. Covered. It was the kind of thing you can’t unsee.

That was the whole reason this brand exists.

And I just kept thinking about how much of it came from clothing. Synthetic fabrics, fast fashion, stuff made to be thrown away.

So I did the opposite.

Every order pulls 1Ib of plastic from the ocean.

We’ve pulled 2,259 lbs so far - 2,259,000 straws, 225,900 forks - just from people buying clothes they actually wanted.

These cleanups happen as a side effect of people living their lives. Nobody had to go out of their way. I think that’s pretty cool.

Anyway. Happy Earth Day. Spend some time outside today! 🌏
