Her work has been worn by numerous celebrities, on the red carpet at award shows and premieres, and featured in several music videos. Since 2016, CANDICE CUOCO has operated out of Los Angeles, with a 2,300 square foot showroom/studio space in DTLA's fashion district located at 1108 South Los Angeles Street. Candice continues to exhibit sophisticated provocation through an intellectual fashion ethos.

CUSTOM for my fav WOMAN …. I remember BOOOOKING it to her Coachella set in 2018 (last slide) watching her from way in the back bc that’s the only place I could get to in time AND STILL LOVED IT. This woman’s music healed me that year and taught a bitch to fall nine times but “GET UP TEN.”
Here we are full circle and I’ll never get over it.

I can’t show you the last thing I created in this studio before I moved (yet), but I can show you this 🖤

Custom beaded lace bodysuit with a built in Rising Star bra with a removable silk chiffon cape for a private client.

Leaving this studio that we built from the ground up was bitter sweet but so grateful for the peace it gave me. The collabs that happened here. The creatives I created with. The pieces I gave birth to. It all came to a screeching halt but I’m slowly finding my way back to it all.

I thought I would wait it out… Hoping the right words would come to me. That maybe if I waited long enough it would mean it wasn’t true and I could wake up and you would call and I would answer. . . But you had bigger plans.

I’d like to think you are somewhere on some plane of existence where dragons are real, and magic is true and you are happy. I’d like to imagine that you have all the machines and car parts in the whole world so you can build and paint and create things with your hands we couldn’t imagine but you would try and tell us anyway. You were too big for this world Dad….your imagination and heart was meant for other worldly things and otherworldly places.

And while I’m still here I’ll keep dreaming and creating and falling in love with my craft like you taught me… and forever missing you and thinking of you and living in the magic you always proved was real.

I love you dad, as high as the sky, as deep as the sea and as wide as the world. Forever flying high with all the dragons in the sky ###

Also- if I’m ever building a bra into one of my customs, it’s always our Rising Star Swirl Bra. This was the very first style I wanted to create when I began Creative Directing for —and it remains one of my favorites. It’s a piece I trust completely.

This corset has flat steel hand cut boning in each channel. The back side leather was lightly molded into a curved bottom shaped. The bust under wire was hand sewn into the bust seam allowance with a hand needle. The fringe was traced perfectly and cut by hand. The work and the details were intense on this piece but the outcome was worth it.

Her first album healed me. I’ll never stop having love for her as a woman and as an artist. She’s the realest.
