Recycling doesn’t happen when you drop it off,
It happens after.
Sorting. Washing. Cutting. Sewing. Repairing. People. Time. Labor.
Most systems just dump and the cycle consumption
starts again. 🫠
IF we want alternatives that support people + the planet
at scale, we have to build them.
Because in a capitalist system, it doesn’t exist.

Actively participate in the cycle of reuse.
If we want a place to take our unwanted clothes,
we have to rescue some back.
When there’s a million things you could buy,
or maybe you’re not buying anything at all-
Rescuing this shirt creates a real recycling loop makes a funds part of a future that doesn’t look so bleak.
This Earth Day don’t just post about it.
