That lifestyle was my life day & night for 20 years identifying as TRANS 🏳️⚧️. I was the ninja 🥷 folks loved to see come in the building.’ Listennn I had the party favors 🚬💊👃🏼The turn up was real, from my house to the club and back to my house until sunrise getting stoned to the bone.
What I once called fun almost cost me my life more than once. Heavy drinking at Pride events, abusing illegal substances, driving intoxicated, overdosing, and keeping company with dangerous people could have been my demise.
For 20 years, I was on a roller coaster ride. Looking back, I realize that self-rejection was a barrier to my destiny. Denying my God-given identity led me down a dark path disguised as acceptance. 🏳️⚧️
My former lifestyle was a manifestation of deeper issues rooted in rejection, molestation, low self-esteem, and body dysmorphia. I partied and made fast money in the club scene of West Hollywood, California. Many knew me as Esko, “The Party Monster” or “The Mayor.”
Oddly religious topics arose and I found myself sharing the gospel. My mom laid hands on some friends who were filled with the Holy Ghost in my living room. While running from God, I still couldn’t hide! 🤦🏽♀️
Freedom is attainable through Jesus Christ.🎚️
