This year we pulled the Valentine’s Day window display off the wall of my office. It’s where it’s hung since we built it for our 2012 Valentine’s Day window.
Danny and I live in Altadena (our home is still standing). It’s where we started our family, where our son went to school, best friends lived, where we built community; I LOVE Altadena. In a blink of an eye the most magical town I’ve ever lived in has been swallowed up. The loss is immense and extremely difficult to process. We’ve been completely focused on helping our friends and community as well as navigating insurance, clean up, school for our son, and finding housing till we can safely return home.
Our Clover community has been so wonderful and we thank you for the outpouring of support (luggage, toiletries, donations to Boys and Girls Club & leads for housing for friends who lost their homes). The rent is still due in Silver Lake, along with payroll. It’s been extremely slow for us (our slowest month on record) along with most small businesses in LA. We could use your support more than ever. We are back in the shop and have been working hard ordering new good stuff. We can’t wait to see some familiar faces. We love you❤️!
